Our work ranges from complex data migrations between case management and financial systems to geospatial models of whole care economies.

We use enterprise-grade information platforms, typically found in much larger organisations. Our solutions contribute to the success of our work on commissioning and transformation. Some of our commissioning strategies would not have been possible without our intelligence platform.

Your project with our technology

Many customers prefer to use our platform to find and analyse the data required in the early stages of a consulting and interim project. In these cases, we quickly define information governance so that we can safely process your information in our digital estate. This frees your information teams for other work. It also accelerates our work and so, because we do not charge to use our platform, reduces costs.

We are also happy to hand over any new functionality that we develop for the project, so that you can adopt it when we leave. In Edinburgh and Gloucestershire we created bespoke datawarehouses of their care market and presented it in searchable maps for their commissioners and brokers.

These datawarehouses helped their commissioners with planning and market oversight. The maps help brokers quickly find current, accurate information about price and availability of care. This guides them to buy according to rules in the procurement strategy that we helped them develop. Our applications reduced the cost of team administration and improved brokers' day-to-day decisions about where to find care and what to pay.

When our work in Edinburgh and Gloucestershire was complete, we gave them our data dictionaries, designs and code and supported them to build in-house versions, at no extra cost. They still operate today.

Your project with your technology

Some customers prefer us to work exclusively within their information systems for reasons of security and sustainability. We often add new sources of information, for example, new reports or enhancements to their recording systems.

In these projects, we work closely with their IT and business information teams, sharing our methods and helping to build their technology.

Information as a service

We offer business intelligence as a stand-alone, distinct from our interim and consulting services. We can help your finance, performance, and information teams solve their most challenging information problems.

This option is popular when a customer needs new, unfamiliar information quickly, as many did early in the Pandemic. Sphere's systems are designed to absorb new information quickly, saving our customers time and expense, and freeing them to use information instead of searching for it.
